Intranet

For a digital studio, I developed a digital asset management system which was used to track resources on web projects, and lead an offshore development team in China.

The project used model-driven design with round-trip software/UML engineering: changing the UML automatically changed the software classes and vice versa: the design was the software. This kind of visual software design was invaluable in helping to communicate with a software team that was half-way around the earth and did not speak English that well.

I developed a simple intranet system that allowed the company to manage its clients and staff. Documents could be scanned and connected with other data. This included employee records, vendors data and bills, etc.

• Drupal 7
• Architected and implemented the application
• Designed and created the content types for Applicants, clients, contractors, employees, and their various document types.
• Lots of forms and Views,
• Custom Module to import the scanned files from the system.
• Some Template work, basic theming.

Waste Management  rewarded their best sales people in that year with an offsite event in Aruba, and this intranet site let them configure their trip with special activities. 

I helped configure this Drupal 6 site, and some module work on the booking module, a multi-page form.
