
The "Made in GSA" Competition is a prestigious annual cocktail contest celebrating regional spirits and ingredients from Germany, Switzerland, and Austria—hence the acronym "GSA." Organized by Mixology magazine, it’s the largest independent cocktail competition in Central Europe. It’s a platform for bartenders to showcase their craft using local ingredients, with a strong focus on storytelling and drink experience.
As part of the 2024 migration of the Mixology website, I helped the Meininger Online Team to develop the new online presence for GSA. Although GSA is a sub-section of Mixology, the goal was to give it a distinctly different look and feel to clearly differentiate it from the main site.
To achieve this, I created a software module that dynamically switches between themes within the same website based on specific criteria. I was also responsible for theming—translating the designer’s rich layout into a fully realized web experience.
