Company Website

Social Media Site for Recycling

The system was integrated through webservices with various outside providers.

There are also pro-blogs and videos, and professional partner pages, as well as a sub-site called "Scan At School" that encourages school children to recycle, and schools are awarded prizes.

The difference to thinkgreenrewards was that this site also had a lot of social media (blogs, videos), and encouraged kiosk based recycling, whereas thinkgreenreward encouraged street-side pickup. Maybe more deciding, both sides had different internal business units running them.

Rewards for Recycling

WM used "thinkgreenrewards.com" to encourage street-side recycling by awarding points which can be redeemed for coupons and products.

The system was integrated through webservices with various outside providers.

The difference to "greenopolis" was that this site here encouraged recycling using street-side pickup, whereas greenopolis had a lot of social media (blogs, videos), and encouraged kiosk based recycling.  Maybe more deciding, both sides had different internal business units running them.

Job Portal

Subcontractor for an agency which develops this site.

I was one of two main developers for the software-architecture and development of a job portal. Users could either submit jobs, or earn points for work performed. The points would accumulated in a jackpot and monetary rewards would be dispersed at the end of each month.

E-commerce was done with Drupal Commerce.

HPorr.com 2011-2018

This is the previous version of this website, using Drupal 7 (the current system is Drupal 8), featuring my business for software and website development.

Before the current design, I designed the previous instance (2011 - 2017) of this site to look different than what you normally see done with Drupal.

Drupal sites often look "boxy" due to the use of blocks, so I purposely created a design that has a more organic and flowing feel that integrates the content of the site into the overall look.

Car-Sale Portal

This client runs a portal for selling cars and freight-items. The pre-existing system was stabilized and expanded. Various adjustments were implemented, for example dealing with multiple languages (multi-lingual site) and currencies.

I am no longer associated with this site or company.

Reverse Shopping Cart

This chain of brick-and-mortar shops buys up items from walk-in clients in their various shop-location, and then resells these, for example on e-bay. For this project, an existing website was migrated to Drupal-7, and I developed a 'reverse shopping cart" for purchasing these items, which interfaced with Amazon's webservice, and created the customer's bill.

Veterinary College of Luxembourg

This is the informational website for the Veterinary College of Luxembourg (Collège vétérinaire du grand-duché de luxembourg ).

The site is fully responsive and mobile friendly.

The customer can easily enter information, pictures, and files related to the college, using the Drupal CMS System, which are then presented to the end-user.  The site is multi-lingual.

The system was developed using Drupal 8, which features even easier data and text input.

Veterinary Association of Luxembourg, for small animals.

This site was originally part of another site (amvl.lu), and I split it out into its own.

It was important to the customer to maintain the look of the original site, so that both look and feel like one unit, even though they are two separate sites.

Various improvements were done to the usability, such as automatic uploads of the emergency calendar and contacts, and the member list;   as well as featured event calendars for visitors or internal members.
