Get-In-Kongress

Get-In Kongress Website:  Drupal development and theming for a multi-day beverage industry conference

The “Get-In Kongress” is a multi-day event hosted by Meininger Verlag, bringing together key players in the beverage industry. The website serves as a central hub, showcasing the event program, speaker lineup, and a live blog during the conference.

Finest Beer Selection

“Finest Beer Selection” is a prestigious international beer tasting competition, where breweries from around the world submit their finest brews to be judged by a panel of experts.

The website combines two previously separate platforms: the tasting logic from Meininger’s wine competitions and a WordPress-based informational site about the “Finest Beer Selection.” These elements were merged into a unified Drupal site. To maintain consistency, the visual design of the original WordPress site was preserved and applied across all tasting-related pages.

European Cetacean Society

The European Cetacean Society is a distinguished non-profit organization that brings together European marine biologists and researchers focused on cetaceans—whales, dolphins, and porpoises.

Through its website, entirely built by me, the society manages memberships and facilitates its annual conference, which attracts hundreds of attendees each year. As part of the conference process, researchers can submit paper abstracts for peer review. Accepted submissions are then presented at the event.

HPorr.com 2011-2018

This is the previous version of this website, using Drupal 7 (the current system is Drupal 8), featuring my business for software and website development.

Before the current design, I designed the previous instance (2011 - 2017) of this site to look different than what you normally see done with Drupal.

Drupal sites often look "boxy" due to the use of blocks, so I purposely created a design that has a more organic and flowing feel that integrates the content of the site into the overall look.

Car-Sale Portal

This client runs a portal for selling cars and freight-items. The pre-existing system was stabilized and expanded. Various adjustments were implemented, for example dealing with multiple languages (multi-lingual site) and currencies.

I am no longer associated with this site or company.

Reverse Shopping Cart

This chain of brick-and-mortar shops buys up items from walk-in clients in their various shop-location, and then resells these, for example on e-bay. For this project, an existing website was migrated to Drupal-7, and I developed a 'reverse shopping cart" for purchasing these items, which interfaced with Amazon's webservice, and created the customer's bill.

Veterinary College of Luxembourg

This is the informational website for the Veterinary College of Luxembourg (Collège vétérinaire du grand-duché de luxembourg ).

As a special and important feature, the site displays the current Emergency Veterinarians for small animals, horses and large animals.   The customer simply upload a CSV file, and based on this my software builds the calendar.

The site is fully responsive and mobile friendly.

Veterinary Association of Luxembourg, for small animals.

This site was originally part of another site (amvl.lu), and I split it out into its own.

It was important to the customer to maintain the look of the original site, so that both look and feel like one unit, even though they are two separate sites.

Various improvements were done to the usability, such as automatic uploads of the emergency calendar and contacts, and the member list;   as well as featured event calendars for visitors or internal members.
